Tel Aviv, Israel—A new supplement for preadolescent boys has been shown in a clinical trial to support healthy growth and development, according to a press release from Nutritional Growth Solutions, Ltd., makers of Grow Daily Boys 10+ protein drink powder.
The 12-month, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study was published in Acta Paediatrica. It included two stages. Stage 1, which took place for the first six months, was a double-blinded intervention with nutritional formula or placebo. Stage 2, which took place from months 6-12, was an open-label extension wherein all 160 participants took the nutritional formula.
